India is touring the Caribbean for the first time since 2019, when the Virat Kohli-led team was undefeated in all formats.
In less than 100 days, India will host the ODI World Cup. The Rohit Sharma-led team will play two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is, two of which will be played at Lauderhill, Fla.
The Test series, which begins July 12 in the Dominican Republic, will be the Indian team’s first appearance since losing to Australia in the final of the 2023 World Tests and its second loss in two years.
The defeat also extended India’s wait for their first ICC title since 2013, when they won the Champions Trophy in England.
