Pant, who was in a terrible accident on Dec. 30 when he was driving home alone to Uttarakhand and wanted to surprise his mother for the New Year, has the original birth date of Oct. 4, 1997.

On January 5, Pant, 25, was flown from Dehradun, where he was being treated after a road accident, and admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.

After undergoing surgery earlier this year, Pant underwent rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy. He recently posted a photo on social media with K.L. Rahul, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj and Yuzvendra Chahal.

In an interview with IANS, he said: I’m feeling much better now, and I’m making good progress in my recovery. Hopefully, with God’s grace and the support of the medical team, I will be fully healthy very soon. It’s hard for me to say whether everything around me has become more positive or even negative.
