People are going overboard in criticizing Rohit’s captaincy: Harbhajan Singh

I think people are overreacting a bit…the way Rohit is being criticized. Cricket is a team sport and one person cannot take you from one place to another, Harbhajan told PTI ahead of India’s next Test against West Indies.

Team India did not perform well in the WTC final and yes, you talk about that performance and move on. But it’s unfair to criticize only Rohit for not scoring points, putting on weight, failing as captain. I think he is a brilliant leader, said the 103-match veteran.

According to Harbhajan, now is the time to show faith in Rohit’s leadership qualities.
