One more year to go: Mohammad Amir on participating in the IPL after receiving a British passport

What would be the scenario at that point…. I always say go step by step.

We don’t know what will happen tomorrow and I’m starting to think about playing in the IPL in 2024.

Amir, 31, who has played 36 Tests, 61 ODIs and 50 T20Is for Pakistan, now travels the world and plays in various T20 leagues.

I don’t know where I will be in a year. Nobody knows the future, he said.

When I get my passport … whatever the best opportunity is and whatever I get … I’ll take it, he added.
