‘No baseball, no silly shots’: Geoffrey Boycott and Michael Vaughan praise England’s intelligent play

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has written that England looked the better side while the Australians were stifled by Mark Wood’s pace and believes England have a good chance of winning at Old Trafford.

The baseball can sometimes be too risky and can introduce the opposition into the game. But Australia showed in the second innings how dangerous it is to play too safe, Vaughan wrote in The Telegraph newspaper.
