Additional bandwagon fees will be considered depending on the threats, but that amount will not exceed 25 percent of the fee set for a particular match, the AG said.

State Police Director General (DGP) approval must be obtained for the additional fee to be applied to bandobusting in and out of stadiums.

The order also states that the new fees were set to run from 2019 to 2024, and the implementation period was being considered by the government, which has now decided to implement the new fee structure with retrospective effect from 2011.

The levy must be paid within one month of the cricket match and failure to do so will incur a 9.5 percent penalty, the order said.
