Lucknow Super Giants have parted ways with Andy Flower and appointed Justin Langer as their new coach

LSU previously sent a farewell message to Tsvetkov, who helped lead the team to the playoffs the past two seasons.

The franchise thanked Tsvetkov for his services. Dear Andy, today we say goodbye to you, but it will never be goodbye because you will always be one of our own. Thank you for everything! Thank you for everything! – They wrote on Twitter.

Prior to joining LSG in 2021, Flower worked at Punjab Kings for two seasons as an assistant coach. Franchise owner Sanjeev Goenka said at the time: As a player and as a coach, Andy has left an indelible mark on cricket history. We respect his professionalism and look forward to him working with our concept and adding value to our team. Flower, appointed in 2021, has led Lucknow to 3rd place in the Indian Premier League in 2022 and 2023.

Former Zimbabwe captain and wicketkeeper-batsman Flower is one of England’s most successful coaches, having led the team to three consecutive Ashes victories this millennium, including triumphs in 2009 and 2013 on home soil and, most impressively, in 2010-11 in Australia.

He also joined the Australian camp ahead of the World Cup final against India as a consultant.

Meanwhile, Langer, who made up a potent starting combination in Test cricket alongside Matthew Hayden, was appointed coach of the Australian national team in May 2018. 14
