Gilchrist was impressed with the way Kishan performed despite knowing that Rahul would be the first-choice keeper.

Adam Zampa obviously suffered a bit in South Africa but here in India, different conditions, different pitches and he is a world class spin bowler and he has shown that, particularly in T20 cricket and now he will get his chance in the 50-over World Cup, Gilchrist said.
Australia will rely on their experienced players.

There has been speculation that veteran David Warner could be promoted to the lower echelon, but the man who has been a very successful opener in short formats believes such a move could backfire.
He (Warner) looked very good in South Africa, I think he should play in the top order, there was talk of him playing in the middle order but I think he should be an opener, he said.
