India, R. Ashwin continues to be No. 1 in the test rankings; Kane Williamson beats Ruth

Another Indian who remains in first place is Ravindra Jadeja, who leads the all-around list with 434 points. While Ashwin remains in second place, Akshar Patel has dropped to fifth place on the all-around list.

Rishabh Pant, who was sidelined after a car accident last December, tops the list of Indian batters at No. 10. Skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are ranked 12th and 14th respectively.Shubman Gill is fifth on the ODI list, while Kohli (eighth) and Rohit (10th) are the other two Indian batters in the top 10. Mohammed Siraj is the only Indian in the top ten of the bowling rankings, ranking second.

Smith pulls ahead, but Williamson leads

Former England skipper Root dropped to fifth, allowing Williamson to regain the top spot.This is the sixth stay at the top for Williamson, who first ranked in November 2015 and was last at the top in August 2021.

Australian batter Steve Smith moved swiftly to the top of the Test rankings after the second England-Australia Test at Lord’s.Smith’s strike of the match (110 and 34) moved him up four spots to second place.

The last time Smith was at the top was in June 2021, when he replaced Williamson for a couple of weeks before being overtaken again by the New Zealand batter.
