Gill’s form has been a major factor in Gujarat’s success this season.

Gill has very good technique that allows him to play all types of bowling. He is great at finding gaps as well as striking hard.

He has also shown great maturity and composure in the IPL. He managed to stay calm under pressure and didn’t let his nerves get the better of him.

This led to comparisons with great players including Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.

Speaking to ANI, Gill shared his thoughts on these comparisons and said: It’s great when people see it, but I don’t really think so, because the generation that inspired all these people-Sachin, Virat and Rohit Sharma-is superior.

If we hadn’t won the 1983 World Cup, if we hadn’t had Sachin Tendulkar, if we hadn’t won the 2011 World Cup, would I be as inspired, maybe, maybe not. So, that kind of legacy, those kinds of things are immortal. You can’t define their legacy, Gill told ANI.
