Cricket: Links to slavery could lead to renaming of 65-year-old stand at Lord’s Stadium

For more than half a century, the Warner Stand has stood in the northwest corner of Lords Stadium, next to the Victorian Pavilion.

It was built in memory of a man whose association with Lords, according to the stadium’s website, spanned nearly 70 years in various roles – as a player.
