1 Indian cricket lost one of its leaders on Monday as former captain and legendary spinner Bishan Singh Bedi passed away in his 77th year of life.
Considered one of the best left-arm spinners to have played in Indian cricket, Bedi recorded 266 wins and 14 five-wicket victories in 67 Tests between 1967 and 1979. He also took seven wickets in 10 one-day international tournaments, a format that was still in its infancy at the time he played international cricket.
