Asian Games: Nepal’s Dipendra Singh broke Yuvraj Singh’s record by hitting a fifty in just 9 balls

Kushal Malla, who recorded a century in just 34 balls, became the first cricketer from Nepal to win a ton in T20 cricket.

After Mongolia took the field first, Nepal started the game relatively slowly. Malla (137 not out (50b), 8×4, 12×6) and captain Rohit Paudel (61 (27b), 2×4, 6×6) scored 193 runs for the third wicket in just 65 balls.

Paudel was out of the game in the first ball of the 19th over. With eleven balls remaining in the match, the outfield Dipendra scored ten of them and made history.

Luvsanzundui Erdenebulgan (1/47), Davaasuren Jamyansuren (1/60), Mungun Altankhuyag (1/55) scored one wicket each for Mongolia.
