Arrival Alert: BCCI shares photos of Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara and Jaidev Unadkat on the training ground before the WTC finals

On Monday, BCCI tweeted photos of Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara and Jaidev Unadkat arriving at the training base, captioned Arrival Alert🚨 @imVkohli, @cheteshwar1 and @JUnadkat are here.

Twitter also posted pictures of other Indian players training, including Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Siraj.

Earlier this week, Umesh Yadav and Shardul Thakur were among the first group of Indian players to begin training for next month’s World Test finals in Oval.

In a recent BCCI Twitter post on May 25, the duo and coaching staff, led by Rahul Dravid, were pictured practicing in a new training kit from new sponsor, Adidas.

Meanwhile, Mumbai opener Yashaswi Jaiswal has been included in the Indian squad for the WTCC final as a reserve player after Ruthuraj Gaikwad told the cricket board that he is getting married June 3-4.

The Indian Express has learned that team management has asked Jaiswal to start training with the red ball, and since he already has a UK visa, he will fly to London in a few days.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) originally included Gaikwad as a reserve player for the WTC final, where India will face Australia at the Oval on June 7. Gaikwad told the BCCI that he would be able to join the team after June 5, but coach Rahul Dravid was looking for his replacement.
